Two suspects were arrested Friday, accused of armed robbery at a gas station in Port Jefferson Station.
Police say 21-year-old Riverhead resident Javon Holliday entered Speedy Mart and Gas just before 9:30 p.m. He showed a gun and demanded cash before running off to a car waiting down the street.
After searching the area, officers say they were able to track down Holliday and the driver. Police have identified the driver as 19-year-old Port Jefferson resident Giavanna Pergola.
While the two suspects were stopped at the intersection of Joline Road and Newport Drive, detectives say they discovered a ghost gun on Holliday.
Holliday and Pergola are expected to go to court later Saturday morning.
