Two police officers were injured Wednesday in West Hempstead, police say.
They say the officers were attempting to deal with an irate bus passenger who got violent while resisting arrest.
The officers and suspect, Palo Howe, were taken to a hospital for treatment and evaluation.
Howe, of Queens, was charged with assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
