Two people were injured in a single-car crash in Melville early Saturday morning, and police say the driver had a suspended license.
They say a 2018 Mercedes-Benz vehicle veered off the roadway, struck two poles and overturned on Ruland Road. It happened around 2 a.m.
The driver, identified as 28-year-old Ronald Kibler, was taken to Nassau University Medical Center with serious injuries. A 25-year-old passenger was hospitalized with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
Kibler was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license, and police say his license had been suspended 15 times on eight separate dates.
