Police say two Hempstead men are facing charges for robbing a store at Roosevelt Field Mall.

Detectives say an employee saw Jeremy Higgins and Kayshawn King try to steal items from the Macy’s store Thursday at around 6 p.m.

News 12 has been told the worker tried bringing the two 18-year-olds back in the store, when Higgins refused to cooperate and tried to run.

Police say the employee managed to stop him outside and the two were arrested soon after.
