Police are investigating two deaths in Farmingdale that they believe are connected.
Police say the body of a woman in her 60s was found at 130 Secatogue Ave. Authorities are investigating her death as a murder. The call came in just before 8 p.m.
Twenty minutes later, a man in his 30s was struck and killed by a LIRR train heading into the Farmingdale train station.
A witness tells News 12 Long Island that the woman's body was headless. He also said her head was lying nearby.
Police believe there is a connection between the man and woman, but would not go into detail.
