Police say a 15-year-old boy is under arrest after police say he shot another teen in the face with a BB gun.

Detectives tell News 12 a 19-year-old went to his friend's house in Farmingdale just after midnight Sunday morning to talk about an issue they had earlier that night.

As he was getting out of his car, the 15-year-old approached him.

Police say the 15-year-old was about five feet away from the victim when he displayed a BB gun and shot the victim three times - in the leg, face and below his left eye.

The 19-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The 15-year-old is charged with assault and will be arraigned later this morning.
