4h agoPolice say a man died in a crash that split a car into two in Copiague.
Police say 21-year-old Reny Cruz-Puente was driving on Deavuille Boulevard just after 1 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway, crashed into a tree, and ejected him.
Officers say rescue teams started CPR on Cruz-Puente, but he was unresponsive and rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
