The plan for a new veterans memorial at the renovated Nassau Coliseum has been unveiled.
The 'Eternal Flame' memorial is planned for the new Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The memorial is a dark, granite oval that is up to 20-feet wide. It will feature flowing water across the surface with a flame in the center.
News 12 Long Island is told it will be built within the next few months and should be ready for the arena's reopening in April.
