Officials: Over 200 road accidents on Long Island Monday

As of Monday afternoon, Nassau officials said police had responded to a total of 68 accidents.

Heavy snow played a part in a number of road accidents across Long Island Monday.
As of Monday evening, Nassau officials said police had responded to a total of 132 accidents from 7 a.m. through 9 p.m.
In Suffolk, police responded to 96 crashes between midnight and 4 p.m. No update has been provided since.
Officials from across the Island advised that residents should remain off the roads Monday unless they absolutely have to drive.
