Pedestrian struck and killed on Southern State Parkway
The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle heading eastbound on the Southern State Parkway between Exits 13 and 14 at 1:13 p.m., according to New York State Police.

11h agoA pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Southern State Parkway on Thursday.
The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle heading eastbound on the Southern State Parkway between Exits 13 and 14 at 1:13 p.m., according to New York State Police.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of their family.
The driver remained at the scene and no criminality is suspected.
