Pedestrian deaths on the rise as more take walks during quarantine

The New York Coalition for Transportation Safety says there has been an increase in pedestrian deaths due to people taking walks because of the pandemic.
The group says many of the deaths are happening in minority communities, where there is also high prevalence of coronavirus cases.
The organization says it is more important than ever for drivers to be cautious on the roads and follow traffic laws.
