News 12's Elisa DiStefano visited the Peconic River Herb Farm on this week's Road Trip: Close to Home.

The 14 acre scenic riverfront farm in Calverton is a whimsical hidden gem.

They have eight greenhouses where you can shop for trees, herbs and other plants.

You'll find late summer/fall perennials, fantastic foliage, shade plants and succulents.

There are other shops on site full of trinkets and treasures.

You can also wander through the greenspace, take in all the beauty and take some inspiration back to your own garden.
