For this week’s Paws & Pals, some pups from Almost Home Animal Rescue and Adoption in Patchogue are looking to finally find their forever home.

Rory

RORY V.png

Rory is a 1-year-old Husky that came from a local municipal shelter. She is very dog friendly and passed her cat test. She loves people and loves the car.  She is a healthy girl waiting to find her forever home. Due to her activity level, it’s recommended for kids 8 and over or a husky experienced family. She will also need a 6 ft. fence.

GREAT NEWS: Rory has since been adopted.

Misty

MISTY V.png

Misty is an 8-year-old, pit mix. This beautiful girl is looking for the love of a lifetime. She arrived at a municipal shelter after being found with another dog. Both dogs look like they haven't been cared for very well. Misty had a skin infection and ear infections. Through it all she has stayed amazingly sweet, affectionate and gentle. Misty loves to go for walks, she goes to the bathroom right away, she knows sit and will automatically sits for cookies which she is very gentle about taking but her favorite thing to do is cuddle up next to you. She is good with kids, no cats and she will need a meet and greet with a dog.

Nick

Nick is 2-year-old male terrier mix that was pulled from a local town shelter. He is on the smaller side, loves people and does well with dogs. He would love to be a family dog and run in a yard and go for car rides.

Danny Boy

DANNY BOY V.png

Danny Boy is an 11-month-old male pup who was rescued from down south at 4 months, adopted then just returned due to no fault of his own. His owner’s health was not good, and their senior dog was no longer able to handle a puppy. Danny is good with dogs and kids. He is an active pup who would love a yard to play in. He would make a great addition to a family.
