In this week's Paws & Pals, Forgotten Friends of Long Island presented some furry friends looking for their 'furever' homes.
Sandy is a mixed breed who is about 2 yrs. old and weighs 26 pounds. Sandy bonds very quickly to her humans and prefers to be around them, so would be happiest and do best with a family where someone is home most of the time. She has been great with all children and other nice dogs she has been introduced to.
Missy is about 1-year-old and about 20 pounds. She is a sweet little mixed breed who was living outside in a pen with 17 other dogs, but she never gave up hope that people were good and she kept her happy and loving attitude toward all people. Missy deserves a wonderful family who will treasure her. Missy is now spayed and microchipped and has had all her immunizations. She did well at her wonderful foster home and she proved to be a smart and loving little dog. Missy did well with calmer dogs around her size but doesn't like dogs who will jump on her.
Catalina is a mixed breed and about 1-years-old, so full grown weighing in at about 42 pounds. She showed up at a home one day with another dog, both were abandoned by their "family.” Catalina is dog and people friendly, on the submissive side and loves to put her paws on your chest to give and receive hugs.
