A Manorville man has been arrested in connection with a string of armed robberies.

Police say 35-year-old Paul Tromblee is responsible for at least nine armed robberies in Suffolk County over the past two weeks. Authorities say he hit up at least six Suffolk gas stations, a tanning salon in Islip, a Jamba Juice in Stony Brook and a CVS in Lake Ronkonkoma.

Detective Lt. Edward P. Reilly says eyewitnesses, surveillance video and Crime Stoppers tips led them to Tromblee.

Police believe Tromblee may also be responsible for the armed robbery of a Mattituck Game Stop.

Tromblee is facing eight counts of first-degree robbery and a third-degree robbery charge. He is being held on $1 million bail.
