Businesses along Freeport's Nautical Mile hope the Labor Day weekend brings plenty of foot traffic to make up for what they say was a less than stellar summer season.
They say the colder temperatures and the rainy weather during the weekends have contributed to frizzling their bottom line.
Businesses, however, are counting on that the long stretch of hot weather during this long holiday weekend will help increase revenue and jumpstart sales.
