WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The heat wave has ended with much cooler weather, although there is still a muggy feel.
Friday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy with an easterly breeze. Much of the day will be dry but there could be a stray shower during the late afternoon and evening. Highs will only be in the low 70s. The weekend turns a touch warmer and more humid. Watch for a hit or miss shower late Saturday with better weather expected for Sunday. It will be partly sunny and warm with highs near 80 degrees.
Next week starts with nice, seasonable weather before the chance for showers and storms return on Tuesday.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with the chance for a spot shower. Lows near 63 degrees with east winds 5 to 15 mph.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with highs near 70. Slight chance for a stray shower late in the day. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Sunset will be at 8:28 p.m. Mostly cloudy at night with the chance for a few showers. Lows near 65. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny, with the chance for an isolated shower or storm in the morning and then again late in the day. Highs near 80. Chance for showers and storms at night with lows near 68.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 84. Lows near 68.
MONDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 84. Lows near 70.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny, warm, and humid with the chance for afternoon showers and storms. Highs near 82. Lows near 70.
