Partial service restored on Oyster Bay branch following downed PSEG power wires
Partial service has been restored on the Oyster Bay branch after downed power lines suspended service Thursday evening.
The Long Island Rail Road posted on its Twitter feed that the power wires fell across the tracks near Glen Street in Glen Cove.
The LIRR says personnel are on scene to assist customers at all affected stations.
Customers at Oyster Bay, Locust Valley and Glen Cove stations are encouraged to leave from Glen Street or alternate branches such as Port Washington or Huntington.  Eastbound service remains suspended.
