A parade was put together by local first responders to honor Freeport resident Dorothy Sellers on a special birthday.

Friends, local police and firefighters gathered outside her home to help celebrate her 108th birthday with cake.

Officials, police and firefighters presented her with an official recognition from the village.

She tells News 12, “I’ll never forget all this and the beautiful day we had.”

Sellers was born in September of 1913. She’s been a Freeport resident since her early 20s.
