The Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown brought some owl friends to the studio this morning.
The great horned owl and the screech owl are two of the residents living at the nature center.
Both owls are found here on Long Island. Both are nocturnal birds of prey that use their sharp talons to catch animals like mice and rats.
The nature center will be hosting a nocturnal hike on May 16 at its preserve.
