A box truck filled with tools and contracting equipment overturned during an accident Saturday night on Sunrise Highway in Bohemia.
Fire officials say it happened in the westbound lanes near Oakdale-Bohemia Road around 5:12 p.m.
Crews found the cargo box completely separated from the truck, with a heavy trail of debris spread across the roadway.
Fire officials temporarily closed the highway in order to clear the nails, screws and tool items.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear. Authorities did not report any injuries.
