The travel ban could create big delays as travelers brace for the biggest Fourth of July travel day ever.
More than 3 million Americans are expected to be catching flights Friday, which is more than a 4 percent increase over last year.
Travelers should expect congested airports all across the country.
Record-shattering numbers are also expected on the roads with more than 44 million people traveling by car.
Low gas prices are part of the reason with the average of gas on Long Island slipping to $2.45.
Many people will be taking the train too, especially from the city to the Hamptons or into the city for holiday events.
News 12 is watching to see if any new problems on the LIRR will complicate holiday travel.
