Hundreds of Long Islanders spent a large portion of their day without heat or power, including Holbrook resident Susanne Sinacori.
Sinacori says she was shivering because she was so cold and says she’s angry because she has had no power in her home all day.
“I am so frustrated right now; I actually could cry that’s how aggravated I am,” said Sinacori.
Sinacori is one of over 1,000 customers who lost power after a PSEG crew working on trees hit a pole on Grundy Avenue and Tate Street in Holbrook at about 10 a.m., according to a spokesperson.
Some residents say they couldn’t get through to the company and felt they weren’t getting any answers about when the power would come back on.
PSEG tells News 12 that the power has been fully restored.
