El Centro Hispano, White Plains Public Schools and MVP Health Care joined Saturday for Operation Bundle Up – a free school supply and coat give away for White Plains families.
MVP Health Care provided 1,000 coats this year, with volunteers of El Centro Hispano giving them out to families in need.
"In addition to providing coverage to people, we want to make sure that all their needs are met. The whole person. Not just their health needs, but things like giving them warm coats in the winter," said Jacqueline Marciniak, a representative with MVP Health Care.
The event was free to attend for anyone who is interested.
