Suffolk fire officials say the blaze broke out just before 8 a.m. at the home on Silas Carter Road. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were able to get the flames under control shortly after 9 a.m., according to authorities.
Officials say the house appeared to be vacant at the time.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
