The Shirley house fire that killed a mom and her three young kids has officially been ruled an accident.

Investigators say the Oct. 11 fire that engulfed a home on Hollywood Drive started in the living room. They say that Jennifer McCusker, her 7-year-old son and 2-year-old twins died from smoke inhalation and burns.

Funeral services were held Friday in Mastic Beach.

A family spokesperson tells News 12 that Aiden, 7, was buried in his Yankees cap and the twins were buried together.
