A boat caught fire Wednesday evening in a Wantagh driveway, fire officials say.

Multiple calls came at around 7:30 p.m. for the fire at 3402 Edgerton Ave.

The Wantagh Fire Department says a man was working on the boat when the fire started.

Around 20 firefighters responded and extinguished the fire in about 40 minutes.

The fire department believes the boat is likely totaled and there was some minor damage to the side of the home.

No injuries were reported, and officials believe the fire is accidental.
