More than 20 young New Yorkers are soaring to new heights as they wrap up their six-week NYPD aviation class.

"I'm really grateful I got this opportunity," Christian, a student in the NYPD Youth Aviation class said. "It gave me a boost in my career."

For their final day of class, the students, ages 11 to 19, got a special behind-the-scenes look at JetBlue's daily operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport Monday.
