25ds agoPaws of War volunteers saved 40 dogs from horrific conditions at three Ohio puppy mills over the weekend.
The Long Island-based nonprofit says it was one of their largest rescue missions to date.
It will cost tens-of-thousands of dollars to rehabilitate the dogs.
The group says all the dogs will eventually be going home with veterans and first responders.
