Police say a van driver allegedly hit three pedestrians outside Penn Station Friday during the evening rush hour.
The man behind the wheel of the van now says it happened when his gas pedal got stuck on the floor mat.
Officials say three people suffered minor injuries in the incident on the corner of 7th Avenue and 31st Street.
Police are investigating the driver's claim.
