NYPD: Pedestrian killed by vehicle in Bed-Stuy; 1 in custody

Police say a 37-year-old man was driving eastbound when he collided with a 37-year-old pedestrian.

A man was fatally struck by a vehicle Tuesday in Bed-Stuy, police say.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. on Myrtle Avenue.
Police say a 37-year-old man was driving eastbound at high speed when he collided with a 37-year-old pedestrian between Walworth Street and Sandford Avenue.
The victim, who was not named, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull where he was pronounced dead.
Police say one person is in custody.
