5h agoAn NYPD officer from Hauppauge who was shot in Queens was released from the hospital Friday.
Officer Brett Boller was met with applause from fellow officers as he exited Jamaica Medical Center.
The 22-year-old officer was shot in the leg while responding to a disturbance on an MTA bus.
The suspected gunman is facing attempted murder charges.
