The NYPD says a three-car crash on a quiet street in East New York was due to a medical episode.
Police say the crash happened on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Montauk and Sutter avenues, when a young, female driver lost consciousness and control of her vehicle.
The car collided with a box truck and a parked vehicle.
Witnesses nearby described hearing the impact and rushing to the scene.
"The car was coming down speeding at about 100 mph, and when it hit the truck," a witness told News 12. "It flipped in the air and landed on its wheels, hitting a parked car on Montauk and Sutter."
All three individuals involved in the crash were transported to Brookdale Hospital.
Police say everyone is expected to be OK.
