Police say two men are now recovering in the hospital after a shooting Thursday night in Williamsbridge.

According to authorities, shots rang out in front of 3600 Bronxwood Ave. and struck both a 24-year-old man and a 42-year-old man in the leg.

The victims were shot by another man who fled in a car, police say.

Both victims are in stable condition at Jacobi Hospital.

It's unclear what led to the shooting. There is no word on the whereabouts of the shooter at this time.
