The House Ethics Committee will not call for Rep. George Santos’ expulsion following a monthslong investigation, according to the New York Times.
The decision comes just weeks after the Long Island congressman survived an attempt by his own party to expel him from the House of Representatives.
Santos faces numerous allegations about lying and her personal and professional life, including allegations of stealing campaign donors’ identifications and using their credit cards to make unauthorized charges.
