A jury ended its sixth day of deliberations in the Hauppauge sword murder trial without a verdict Tuesday. Jurors are still deadlocked, and the eventually sent a note to the judge asking to go home. The judge agreed and deliberations will continue Wednesday. Jurors were also re-read testimony and given the definition of ?reasonable doubt.? During the trial, 20-year-old Zachary Gibian testified that he initially confessed to killing 51-year-old Scott Nager to protect the real killer, his mother. The mother, in turn, pleaded the Fifth. Gibian has also claimed Nager, a retired New York City police officer, psychologically and sexually abused him for years.
