News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says it will be be a mostly sunny week with warm temperatures ahead of Memorial Day weekend.
WHAT'S NEW: Dry and seasonably cool weather ahead with hazy smoke skies from Canadian wildfires.
WHAT'S NEXT: Watching a storm develop south of Long Island for the holiday weekend. Right now most of the weekend is dry but we could have extra cloud cover and a few showers from time to time on Saturday and Sunday. Daytime highs will be near 70 degrees.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows near 53 degrees. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:28
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and hazy. Breezy at times and a touch cooler with highs near 66 degrees. Easterly winds 5 to 15 mph. Sunset: 8:11.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs near 69. Mostly cloudy at night with the slight chance of a stray shower. Lows near 47.
