Suffolk County police say a 54-year-old Arizona man drowned in an inground pool Sunday night in Huntington, just a day after he was married.
Police were called to 19 Briarfield Lane at 8:50 p.m. after the victim, William Cummings, was found floating in the pool. Investigators say Cummings had been swimming by himself.
Cummings was staying with friends at the home. His body was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner?s Office, where an autopsy will be performed.
