It says it only has a three-day supply of blood, and the pandemic is to blame for a year that saw virtually no youth first-time donors.
They also say fewer blood drives have occurred and donors have not returned to donate more.
The blood center says those who donate can earn points that can be used to redeem prizes like gift cards, electronics and sports equipment.
