Suffolk County will soon require sellers of liquid nicotine to warn their customers about the products' hazardous effects.
A bill will be signed into law Monday requiring business owners to post signs warning shoppers about the dangers of liquid nicotine.
The National Poison Data System reported that the number of cases involving liquid nicotine rose 300 percent from 2012.
The law will take effect in 90 days.
