The man accused in the death of a Suffolk corrections officer is facing new charges.A grand jury indictment was unsealed Wednesday against 25-year-old Anthony Oddone, of Farmingville. Oddone is now being charged with second-degree murder with depraved indifference. Originally, he was charged with first-degree assault.Police say Oddone was dancing on a table at Southampton?s Publick House earlier this month when Andrew Reister, who moonlighted at the bar as a bouncer, told him to stop. According to police, Oddone then attacked Reister, choking him until he was unconscious. Reister later died at Stony Brook University Medical Center from his injuries.Oddone faces up to 25 years behind bars if convicted.
