Nassau police: Oceanside street flooded due to fire hydrant damage in 2-car crash

Detectives say two vehicles collided on Brower Avenue at the intersection of Harvey Avenue around 7 p.m.

Nassau police say a two-car crash led to flooding at a residential street Saturday evening in Oceanside.
Detectives say two vehicles collided on Brower Avenue at the intersection of Harvey Avenue around 7 p.m.
They say one of those cars hit a pole and the other hit a fire hydrant.
The hydrant had to be shut off and police say the water had to be pumped out from the street.
They added that the hydrant will need to be replaced.
According to police, nobody was hurt and nobody was arrested.
