Several arrests have been made in connection to a violent robbery at an East Hills gas station earlier this month.
Police say 34-year-old Kasheen Ali, 23-year-old Victor Garrison Jr., both from Hempstead, and 23-year-old Kayla Paden, of Westbury, face robbery and assault charges.
News 12 reported that the incident began just before 2 p.m. on Sept. 5 when the 36-year-old victim asked the female driver of a U-Haul at a Mobil station on Glen Cove Road to move her vehicle so she could get closer to the pump.
Police say the woman in the U-Haul hit the victim, knocking her to the ground. They say two men then got out of the U-Haul and one of them started to kick, punch and hit the victim. Police say the woman from the U-Haul then ripped a necklace off the victim.
Police say the victim refused medical attention.
