Suffolk DA: MS-13 member convicted of kidnapping, assaulting, robbing teen

Yeison Chavez Campos faces 25 years in prison for each charge.

An MS-13 gang member has been convicted of kidnapping, robbing and assaulting a 15-year-old boy, according to the Suffolk District Attorney.
Officials say 23-year-old Yeison Chavez Campos and four other gang members attacked and robbed the victim at the Huntington train station in Jan. 2024.
The men brought the teen to an abandoned building in Brentwood and continued to assault him.
Chavez Campos was convicted on nine charges and faces 25 years in prison for each.
