Nassau officials say the county is on track to enter phase 3 of reopening one week from Wednesday – which includes indoor dining, nail services and personal services.
Meanwhile, the county says parks and spray parks will be open on July 3 – with some guidelines in effect.
The pools include those in Wantagh, Cantiague, North Woodmere, Nickerson Beach pools and Christopher Morley park.
Like beaches, the pools will be operating at more limited capacity with groups of no more than 10 people and restricted to county residents. In addition, officials are asking people to stay 6 feet apart and to stay within their groups.
Those going to the pool will be asked to wear their masks while coming into the facility, using the bathroom and leaving the facility.
Meanwhile, the county says concessions will be opened at all pools. Food trucks will be available on a texting system – delivering food to those at the facilities who order.
Lastly, officials announced the county is at an all-time low, with 98 COVID-19-related hospitalizations.
