10h agoA potentially lifesaving antidote will soon be stocked in Nassau's county buildings.
The Long Island Council of Alcoholism and Drug Dependence is partnering with the county to supply Narcan.
Narcan can be used to reverse the effects of an overdose.
The county has also committed to investing $15 million - each year for the next four years - in education, treatment and prevention.
