Officials say five children were injured after an accident involving an inflatable slide in Wyandanch.
The students involved in the incident were from Lafrancis Hardiman Elementary School.
The company that provided the slide is pinning the blame on the Wyandanch School District.
The company says there was not enough supervision, which allowed 14 children to climb onto a slide designed to hold only two people.
The company said the school told them they had 30 supervisors, who weren't there.
Jump Around Party said it's the customer's responsibility to understand how dangerous the items could be.
“It's actually very self-explanatory, honestly, because if there's too many kids in one bouncer it's only a matter of time before someone is going to get hurt,” said Zoraida Rodriguez, Jump Around Party rental manager.
It's not clear who was assigned to watch the children at the time of the incident.
The Wyandanch School District says it's working with the rental company to investigate.
The Town of Babylon says the one child still in the hospital has a broken hip and collar bone. All other children who went to the hospital have been released.
