Metro-North Railroad: Access to Grand Central Station limited Friday evening due to demonstrations

The MTA advised people to use alternative travel to and from Penn Station instead.

Metro-North Railroad: Access to Grand Central Station limited Friday evening due to demonstrations
Access to Grand Central Station was limited late Friday night due to demonstrations in the area, the Metro-North Railroad announced.
Customers were allowed to enter and exit through Lexington Avenue. All other entrance were closed for the remainder of the evening.
The MTA urged commuters to expect intermittent closures of entrances and exits. The transit agency also advised people to use alternative travel to and from Penn Station instead.
The Metro-North Railroad told commuter to travel to and from Harlem-125th Street as an alternative. New York City Transit was cross-honoring tickets in both directions via the 1, 2, 3 and 7 lines along with 42 Street Shuttle. They also were cross-honoring Metro-North tickets via the 4, 5 and 6 subway lines.
