An MS-13 member was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison Wednesday for his role in the murder of a teenager in Massapequa.
Prosecutors say Carlos Portillo was one of several men who hacked Julio Cesar Gonzales-Espantzay to death with a machete at the Massapequa Preserve.
The 19-year-old victim was lured to his death after police say a woman working with MS-13 promised him drugs and sex.
Two other men are already serving lengthy sentences for the same killing.
