A high-ranking leader of the MS-13 gang will face a Central Islip judge on terrorism charges.
Federal prosecutors say Cesar Humberto Lopez-Larios has been on the run as a fugitive for three years.
He was arrested earlier this week in Texas.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says that acting Lopez-Larios' orders, MS-13 has "spilled so much blood and turned communities into war zones."
